Flowering: large yellow to white flowers.
Hardiness: hardiness rating 3. Edgeworthia chrysantha Grandiflora is a deciduous shrub. Bears bright yellow to white flowers on bare stems in winter to early spring. Its flowers are remarkebly larger then the 'normal' species. Edgeworthia is being used in China for production of high quality paper. The Himalayan Buddhist monks made paper from the bark of Edgeworthia and wrote their holy texts on them! Native to China and Japan.
