Here you are able to see a short description of our organisation, especially on our Asian product line known as Marcopolo Plants. The name MarcopoloPlants refers to the Italian explorer Marco Polo, who was one the first Europeans to travel across Asia. Once back in Europe he wrote and talked about the Mystical Asia. The beautifull landscapes, the magnificant population and als its wonderfull Flora and Fauna. With our MarcopoloPlants product line we aim ourselves at the great floral diversity of Asia, especially plants & trees from China, Japan and Korea.  "MarcopoloPlants" is a trade mark of the Dutch wholesale company Boevé B.V., an im- export company specialized in seeds and Asian & South American plants and trees. Boevé B.V. is a family run company. In Holland you can contact Remko and Bart, sons of the founders Arie and Sandra Boevé. Since 2003 the founders of Boevé B.V. are living in China, where they supervise our Asian production. Furthermore, Arie Boevé is always in search for interesting plants, native to China, Japan or Korea.
Arie and Sandra Boevé are doing all quality checks in Asia to guarantee a high quality product. As they are doing most of the sorting themselves, specific selections can be made upon request. Over the past few years we've set up close cooperations between our local partners in China, Japan and Korea. Frequent communication and a well developed business relaltionship allows us to meet the needs of our customers and supply them with high quality material and good service. We are able to offer you bulk quantities of Asian plants and trees as well as rare and hard to find Asian plant species in smaller numbers. Frequent communication and yearly field trips in China, Japan & Korea have resulted in a widely selected assortment of plant species suitable for the European market. We supply wholesalers, nurserymen, auctions, landscape designers, gardencentres and arboretums, with: • liners;
• semi-finished plants;
• finished plants;
• Japanese Maxi Bonsai; These products can all be shipped either by CC-Trolley or Pallet (box). Mixed trolleys can also be made upon request. Every year we attempt to find new or interesting plant species and, depending on obtained cultivation results, add them to the MarcopoloPlants assortment.
